M.W. Boudreaux Recreation Center, Visitor Center Complex

Frontenac provided civil and structural engineering design of new 8000 s.f. visitor’s center and complex overlooking Mark Twain Lake. The project employed LEED© Gold equivalency on a fast track project schedule. The project included a comprehensive exhibit design integrated into a “Lodge Style” structure reflecting the natural setting overlooking Mark Twain Lake and Clarence Cannon Dam. The project included the construction of a new loop driveway extending from the existing parking lot that is to remain, relocation of the existing memorial and the construction of a new outdoor learning area/pavilion.
