STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Who We Want: FEG is seeking a structural engineer to join our commercial/industrial team. The new team member will be responsible for performing structural engineering design and calculations to ensure project compliance with all applicable building codes, as well as working with drafting staff to produce detailed, accurate drawing packages. The new team member will be responsible for handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. New team member will report to Industrial and Commercial market leads.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination.
- Experience in structural design software such as RISA3D, RISAFND, Enercalc, TEDS, etc.
- Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience in Structural Engineering preferred, with preference given to candidates who have experience working on industrial projects.

Required Skills
- Proficient in performing structural engineering design and calculations.
- Familiarity with applicable design codes such as IBC, ASCE-7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc.
- Must be comfortable reading and reviewing structural drawing packages and specifications.
- Ability to work with multiple materials such as structural steel, concrete, and wood.
- Reading and coordinating vendor drawings (i.e. PEMB or equipment drawings).
- Foundation and anchorage design.
- Must be self-directed and mentally engaged with ambition for learning.
- Must be able to competently communicate in person and in writing. Must be willing to ask questions.
- Must be able to work closely with, creatively contribute to, and take direction from, a team of professionals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting amongst engineers, architects, contractors, and other construction personnel.
CIVIL ENGINEER
Frontenac Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a registered professional civil engineer with a minimum of 8 years experience designing commercial, municipal, and institutional projects. Successful applicants will have excellent design skills, project management skills, communication skills, and hands-on field experience.
